In the ever-evolving tech landscape, staying ahead of the competition requires not only the right products but also the knowledge to utilize them effectively. I’m here to walk through the journey of a multinational beverage company that partnered with Conga for its quote-to-cash process but faced challenges due to a lack of training and discover how Conga's training subscription, the Conga Learning Pass (CLP), transformed their experience, enabling them to unlock the full potential of Conga solutions. 

It began with our customer’s strategic vision to streamline and optimize their quote-to-cash process. They invested in Conga CLM and Conga CPQ, seeking to leverage their full capabilities. However, due to time constraints and resource limitations, they opted for a basic out-of-the-box (OOTB) solution, bypassing product training. This decision resulted in unmet requirements and an incomplete project, hindering their path to success. 

The sales, contracts, IT, developers, and product team’s challenges became apparent as they aimed to scale and grow. Knowledge gaps, lack of familiarity with product releases, and minor change management issues impeded their progress. To address these issues, the newly appointed Product Owner identified the importance of investing in the project team's expertise, acknowledging the absence of a Conga expert within their ranks. 

Conga's previous Customer Success Manager (CSM), Laura Martin, collaborated with an Account Executive and recognized the company's desire to review its project comprehensively and incorporate training, Laura suggested a fresh approach focused on growth, enablement, and planning. The introduction of the Conga Learning Pass (CLP) sparked immediate interest within the team. 

A follow-up call was scheduled with the customer to delve deeper into the CLP and Conga's extensive training offerings. The Conga Enablement team joined the discussion, showcasing the learning platform's features, demonstrating learning paths, highlighting expert-led webinars, and emphasizing the wealth of resources available within the Conga Customer Community

The team recognized the critical role training played in their digital transformation journey and as a crucial asset within Conga's toolkit. They were encouraged to stay up to date with the latest product releases, leveraging upgrades alongside a robust learning plan. Understanding the potential for improved functionality, product development, customization, and onboarding of new team members, the company is committed to budgeting for the CLP. 

Check out these stats after the team took advantage of the CLP: 

  • 35 users activated in the Conga Learning Pass 

  • 74 course enrollments 

  • 1 newly Certified Admin 

Overall business outcomes with Conga CLM and Conga CPQ include: 

  • Over 14,000 proposals created 

  • $270M in gross revenue 

  • Increased adoption

Future plans include defining key performance indicators (KPIs) related to training and enablement, mapping out specific courses, and exploring opportunities for collaboration with other customers through the Conga Customer Community.
