2 min read  This success story highlights one of Conga’s financial services customers who is new to Conga Composer. Despite being a small team, the Finance and Legal departments play a crucial role in helping clients plan their retirement with financial review packets.Without prior knowledge of Composer, one user took over as Salesforce Admin and began navigating the Conga Customer Community for help. They posted their challenges in the Composer user group, seeking advice on optimizing their templates and expanding their Composer usage.Their financial review forms were cluttered with errors and redundant information, overwhelming clients. As a result of these challenges, the team manually downloaded each form into Microsoft Word, removed the repetitive content, pulled data from Salesforce, and transferred numbers from Excel—an unsustainable and error-prone process.After connecting with Conga, they later learned that the redundancy was due to too many merge fields.The primary use case: 

Best Practice #1Provide a detailed description: Enter details that clearly define your Requirements. Ideally this should include:  A clearly defined use case or business problem that is not met with current functionality. Include the functional job a user is trying to accomplish, the desired workflow, and industry context.   For enhancement requests, provide detailed requirements for the functionality that you’re seeking and name the existing feature.   You can include screenshots, links to related ideas, and product docs to explain why existing functionality does not meet your needs.    Be detailed, illustrate as much as you can to bring out all the components. 4 min read  For years, a Biotechnology Research Company struggled with outdated contract lifecycle management (CLM) processes that slowed negotiations and increased risk. Templates were tangled, workflows were inefficient, and the clause library lacked clarity, making every contract review a time-consuming challenge. Today, the organization is turning that frustration into success with Conga CLM and AI-driven innovation. The challenge: Outdated templates and manual processes The Customer Service, Sales, and Legal teams were bogged down by antiquated templates, especially the Master Service Agreement (MSA). Multi-level numbering was inconsistent; clauses were buried in formatting quirks, and exhibit references relied on brittle custom code. Negotiators faced additional hurdles with a clause library full of numeric identifiers such as “2.3,” offering no real guidance.
